The Role
Meagher + Geer is seeking an Associate Attorney with 1–4 years of civil litigation experience to join our litigation department, handling products liability and mass tort/toxic tort matters.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage all phases of products liability and mass tort/toxic tort litigation, from initial case assessment through trial
· Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery
· Prepare for and take or defend depositions, including expert witness depositions
· Appear in court for hearings and assist with trial preparation
· Communicate with clients and collaborate closely with partners on case strategy
Qualifications
Applicants should have excellent academic credentials, strong writing skills, and persuasive communication abilities. Applicants must be admitted to the Minnesota bar; admission in North Dakota, Wisconsin, or Illinois is a plus. Court of appeals or judicial clerkship experience is preferred.
