MLBA is committed to promoting justice and equality within the legal profession and Minnesota. MLBA accomplishes these goals through the seven working committees and the coordinated efforts of our members and the board of directors.
Each committee is chaired by a board member who is charged with managing committee objectives and giving direction to the volunteer members of their committee. Goals are created each year at the annual board member retreat each summer. Approximately 2-4 volunteer members are recruited for each committee*. While many members are recruited to join a committee, MLBA members who have an interest in joining a particular committee are strongly encouraged to volunteer by emailing the committee chair a letter of interest along with a resume.
To find out who is the Chair of a particular committee, please visit the Board of Directors Page.
