Conference Committee

The Conference Committee plans and implements all aspects of the annual MLBA Conference,
which is the largest event the MLBA hosts and the board plans during the year. Specific
responsibilities include:

• Planning and executing the MLBA Conference (process typically begins in October and ends in February).
• Event planning (location/platform, timing, program flow)
• Program planning (soliciting and securing CLE presenters, keynote presenter and panel presenters).
• Securing sponsorships (asking for money and following up to make sure checks come in).
• Identifying key stakeholders for collaboration.
