Each spring, the MLBA elects new board members for two-year terms. We would like to extend an open invitation to MLBA members to apply for a position on the Board! The Board meets the second Tuesday of each month in the evening. Committees tend to have a separate monthly meeting, scheduled according to the availability of committee members.
Board members can be involved with aspects of MLBA such as Conference planning, member communication and engagement, and public policy work. Most board members can expect to spend 3-5 hours per month on board-related activities. For more information, please see our Board Member Description or Committees Page.
If you would like to apply for an open board seat, please send us your resume and a personal statement (no more than 1-2 pages) to [email protected]. In your personal statement, please let us know how you believe you could contribute to the Board based on your interests and skills. Please submit your materials by 10:00pm on April 13, 2026, to be considered for a position.
